How we pick and score every bike
Where the data comes from
Every review starts from the specs published on Amazon and, when information is missing or contradictory, we complete it from the manufacturer's official spec sheet or from reviews by outlets cited in the review summary. We don't invent or estimate technical figures: if a value doesn't exist in any reliable source, the review shows a dash (—).
How the radar scores are calculated
Range and power are calculated objectively over the catalog's real spread (the bike with the most range in the catalog scores a 10, the one with the least scores a 0, and the rest fall proportionally in between). Comfort, sportiness, ease of use and value are an editorial judgment based on the specs, the intended use case, and the external reviews we've read — always labeled "editor's rating," never presented as a manufacturer spec.
Prices
The prices we show are reference points and carry the date they were captured. Amazon changes prices constantly, so the final price and real availability are always whatever shows up behind the "View on Amazon" button at checkout.
